Mollywood actors Naslen K. Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju’s comedy-drama ‘Premalu’ has started streaming on OTT platforms. The film, which has gained significant attention since its release, is now accessible in its original Malayalam version as well as in Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi, expanding its audience reach across India.
On its opening day, ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’, starring Pranav Mohanlal and Dhyan Sreenivasan, earned Rs 2.8 crore at the Indian box office.
Starring Naslen K. Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, ‘Premalu’ initially did not create much buzz before its theatrical release. However, it managed to captivate audiences and critics alike, thanks to positive reviews and strong word of mouth.
Girish AD’s unique style of storytelling, which touches the hearts of audiences, is undoubtedly the main highlight and the reason for the success of ‘Premalu’.
The film received high praise from ‘RRR’ director SS Rajamouli during the Telugu launch of the comedy-drama.
‘Premalu’ revolves around a romantic comedy centered on two young people from different backgrounds. Naslen K. Gafoor plays Sachin, a young man who develops a crush on Reenu, portrayed by Mamitha Baiju. Despite Reenu appearing to be out of Sachin’s league, he pursues her, facing challenges and heartbreaks along the way.
