The makers of the upcoming film ‘Porattu Nadakam’, starring Saiju Kurup, have unveiled the first song from the soundtrack titled ‘Nazhoori Paalu’. Sung by Rahul Raj and Sithara Krishnakumar, the melodious track is composed by Rahul Raj and adds a musical touch to the film’s quirky narrative.
The song showcases Saiju Kurup’s character engaging with a cow in a light-hearted and amusing manner. Although the reason for his interaction with the cow is not clear, his playful and humorous approach adds charm to the track. The music video also offers glimpses of other prominent cast members, including Rahul Madhav and Dharmajan Bolgatty.
The film is set in the village of Gopalapuram in northern Kerala and unfolds over a span of 21 days. It features satirical elements that are central to the film’s storyline.
A teaser previously released showed a man protesting in front of a cooperative bank with an ambulance parked nearby. He accuses the bank of exploitation but insists he has no political affiliations, suggesting an investigation into a potential scam.
‘Porattu Nadakam’, directed by Naushad Saffron, derives its name from a renowned folk-art form in Palakkad. The film boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Saiju Kurup, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Ramesh Pisharody, Rahul Madhav, Nirmal Palazhy, and Arjun Vijayan.
In other news, actress Navya Nair has been facing social media criticism and has decided to sell her worn sarees online to raise funds for a charitable cause.
Saiju Kurup’s most recent project was the Jayaram starrer medical thriller ‘Abraham Ozler’.
