Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu, who tied the knot in 2016, are now proud parents to a beautiful baby girl, Devi Basu Singh Grover. The couple has been winning hearts with their hands-on approach to parenting, frequently sharing precious moments with Devi on social media. In a recent interview, Karan opened up about his commitment to taking care of Devi himself, even with the assistance of a nanny.
In an interview with Instant Bollywood, Karan shared that he and Bipasha had waited a long time and faced many challenges before welcoming Devi into their lives. Reflecting on this journey, Karan expressed his deep sense of responsibility and joy in caring for his daughter. “We have help; we have a nanny, but we waited so long and we tried so hard,” he explained. “Let me say that I have washed her potty, every potty, for many months. It’s our baby. I don’t want anybody to wash my baby’s bum. I’ll wash it because I prayed for it and she is here. I don’t want to share it or lose that experience for anything.”
Bipasha Basu previously disclosed that Devi was diagnosed with a ventricular septal defect (VSD) when she was just three months old. In a conversation with Neha Dhupia, Bipasha revealed the emotional toll it took, admitting, “I did not sleep for 40 days and 40 nights. I am not lying. I swear on God.” Fortunately, Devi underwent surgery to correct the two holes in her heart and is now doing well.
On the professional front, Karan Singh Grover was recently seen in the film “Fighter,” where he starred alongside Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, and Sanjeeda Sheikh.
