Anant Ambani, son of business tycoons Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, is gearing up to marry Radhika Merchant in a grand wedding set for July. The couple, who got engaged in a traditional ‘roka’ ceremony at Shreenathji temple in Nathdwara last year, have been the focus of multiple pre-wedding celebrations. Following a three-day extravaganza in Jamnagar, they recently hosted a lavish three-day event on a cruise traveling from Italy to South France. The cruise festivities were star-studded, featuring celebrities like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh, among others.
After returning from Italy, the Ambani family has commenced their wedding invitations. Nita Ambani was first seen at Vishwanath Temple in Kashi, where she presented an invitation to Lord Shiva. Anant Ambani has been personally inviting notable guests, including a visit to actor Ajay Devgn’s home.
On Tuesday night, Mukesh Ambani, alongside Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, visited Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to extend their wedding invitation. The visit was captured in a video shared by ANI, where the family presented Shinde with a bouquet and posed for photographs.
The wedding is scheduled to take place at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai on July 12. Following the marriage ceremony, a ‘shubh ashirwad’ event is planned for July 13, and the celebrations will conclude with a ‘Mangal Utsav’ (reception) on July 14. Guests are expected to adhere to a dress code of traditional Indian attire.
