Tollywood star Allu Arjun has made a substantial donation of Rs 25 lakh to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to aid in the rehabilitation efforts following the recent landslides in Wayanad. Expressing his sorrow over the disaster, Arjun shared a heartfelt message on his official Twitter account, stating, “I am deeply saddened by the recent landslide in Wayanad. Kerala has always given me so much love, and I want to do my bit by donating ₹25 lakh to the Kerala CM Relief Fund to support the rehabilitation work. This generous gesture is part of a broader outpouring of support from the film industry. Actress Nayanthara and director Vignesh Shivan have each pledged Rs 20 lakh to the relief fund, while Tamil actors Suriya and Vikram, along with Malayalam film icons Mohanlal, Mammootty, Dulquer Salmaan, Tovino Thomas, and Fahadh Faasil, have also contributed to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund.
Additional support has come from celebrities including Rimi Tomy, Navya Nair, Joju George, and Nazriya, reflecting a unified effort from the film industry to assist those affected by the Wayanad landslides.
