In the lead-up to the highly anticipated release of “Deadpool 3,” leaked images from the set have emerged, offering fans intriguing glimpses into the storyline of Marvel’s sole 2024 release. A spoiler-filled video, courtesy of Mail Online, showcases new Deadpool variants set to debut in the film, with confirmation that Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine will play a significant role. Among the revelations from the leaked footage are the introduction of Dogpool and a bearded variant of Wade Wilson sporting a man-bun.
In the leaked scenes, Ryan Reynolds is seen donning a new suit, notably without Wade’s signature facial scars, while also featuring the MCU version of Wade carrying Dogpool. The leaked content strongly suggests that “Deadpool 3” will explore the Multiverse, aligning with longstanding fan speculations. Rumors abound that the film will have ties to Hugh Jackman’s 2017 movie, “Logan,” which marked his original farewell as the iconic character in the MCU.
Returning alongside Reynolds and Jackman are familiar faces from the Deadpool franchise, including Karan Soni (Dopinder), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), Stefan Kapicic (Colossus), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), Shioli Kutsuna (Yukio), and Rob Delaney (Peter).
Newcomers Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen are expected to bring fresh dynamics to the film, with Corrin playing Cassandra Nova and Macfadyen likely portraying a TVA agent named Paradox. Industry trades have officially confirmed Jennifer Garner’s return as Elektra, while speculation abounds regarding potential cameos by Wesley Snipes as Blade, James Marsden as Cyclops, Famke Janssen as Jean Grey, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, and even singer Taylor Swift.
“Deadpool 3” is not just the MCU’s most anticipated release of 2024; it promises to be a groundbreaking exploration of the Multiverse. While previous MCU films and series have largely stayed within their respective franchises within the multiverse, “Deadpool 3” marks a significant crossover into the X-Men franchise, Daredevil, and Blade.
