Sunny Wayne, who portrayed the character Sreekuttan, revealed that the decision to join the series was driven by his desire to explore comedy after working on dark humor and thrillers. He expressed the importance of bringing laughter to audiences, especially during the ongoing pandemic. The actor discussed his character as an innocent guy from Perilloor, desperate to get married, and highlighted the humor embedded in even the serious conversations with his friends.
Notably, the series was shot in Sunny Wayne’s hometown, Wayanad, showcasing the picturesque beauty of the region. The actor described the experience of filming in Wayanad during March-April as enchanting, with locations like Ambukuthi Mala, The Kavala, Panchayat Office, Temple, and Paddy fields adding to the visual appeal.
Sunny Wayne also praised the portrayal of Keman Soman by Ashokan, emphasizing the actor’s perfect embodiment of the character. He discussed the impactful Aanukaanal (The groom-seeing ceremony) scene in the series, acknowledging its unique take on tradition and its delivery of a strong message on gender equality through humor.
