British-American actor and film producer Elisabeth Moss has confirmed that she is expecting her first child. During an interview with host Jimmy Kimmel, Moss, 41, humorously responded to the question of whether she was pregnant or just an intensely committed method actor by saying, “A little bit of both.” The ‘Mad Men’ star expressed her gratitude for the smooth journey of her pregnancy, stating that she has been “really lucky.”
Moss, known for her role in ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’ did not disclose details such as the due date of her child. In the interview, Kimmel shared parenting advice he received from Bill Murray, suggesting bringing Christmas lights and battery-powered candles to improve the delivery room’s lighting.
The actress, who was previously married to Fred Armisen, has been actively involved in ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’ a dystopian drama based on Margaret Atwood’s 1985 novel. The show’s fifth season premiered in September 2022, with Hulu renewing it for a sixth and final season.
Bruce Miller, the series creator and showrunner, expressed gratitude to Hulu and MGM for allowing them to tell the relevant and groundbreaking story.
