In a significant turn of events on Valentine’s Day, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s romantic comedy, “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,” experienced a noteworthy surge in box office collections. The film witnessed an impressive spike of 80-85 per cent on Wednesday compared to the previous day’s earnings.
According to reports from Sacnilk, the film is set to exceed expectations by raking in Rs 6.75 crore nett. This surge can be attributed to a special promotional ‘Buy One Get One offer’ designed for Valentine’s Day audiences, providing couples with discounts and contributing to increased footfalls.
With this boost, “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” has now amassed a total of Rs 41.35 crore at the domestic box office. The promotional offer is expected to continue on Thursday, aiming to sustain audience interest, although a drop in collections is anticipated.
The film, directed by first-time filmmakers Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, features Shahid Kapoor in the role of Aryan, an engineer who decides to marry a robot named Sifra, played by Kriti Sanon. Veteran actors Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia also grace the cast. Released on Friday, the movie explores a unique and unconventional storyline, capturing the attention of audiences during the Valentine’s Day celebration.
