Punjabi actress Sargun Mehta recently disclosed that she passed up not one, but two opportunities to meet Shah Rukh Khan. Rather unexpectedly, she declined the chance in pursuit of her goal to collaborate with the Bollywood star.
Mehta revealed that despite her husband, TV actor Ravi Dubey, having the opportunity to work with Shah Rukh Khan, she opted not to meet him. Even with Shah Rukh Khan making multiple visits to the set of Ravi’s show, including during the shooting of ‘Jamai Raja’ for the second time, Sargun chose to stay away.
Despite never meeting SRK in person, Sargun shared that he recorded a personal video for her through Ravi. In the video, Shah Rukh promised a future collaboration, recognizing Sargun’s admiration. She eagerly expressed her anticipation of realizing this dream and planned to announce their collaboration, using the video as evidence of her manifestation.
Sargun went on to elaborate on her profound admiration for Shah Rukh Khan, revealing that her decision to pursue acting was inspired by watching his performances. She developed a deep emotional connection with SRK’s characters and credited his on-screen portrayals for teaching her about the art of acting. Sargun confessed that she would staunchly defend SRK if anyone spoke ill of him, even going as far as refusing to communicate with classmates who criticized him. She firmly believed that no one had the right to dislike Shah Rukh Khan, refusing to acknowledge any negativity towards him.
