In a spectacular display of musical prowess, international sensation Ed Sheeran wowed a massive crowd gathered at the Mahalaxmi Race Course grounds in South Mumbai on Saturday night. Alongside Indian artists Diljit Dosanjh and Armaan Malik, Sheeran delivered a dynamic performance that lasted over two and a half hours, treating the audience to a repertoire of over 30 songs.
Among the attendees was renowned Bollywood filmmaker Farah Khan, who, accompanied by actress Madhuri Dixit Nene and her husband Shriram Nene, captured a memorable moment with a selfie from the concert. Playfully noting Dixit Nene and Nene’s familiarity with Sheeran’s lyrics, Khan shared the photo on social media.
The event also saw a star-studded gathering organized by Farah Khan in Sheeran’s honor, attended by the likes of Aryan Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Malaika Arora, Rajkummar Rao, Patralekhaa, Huma Qureshi, and Arshad Warsi.
During the concert, Sheeran enthralled the audience with a vibrant medley of his hit songs, including ‘Tides’, ‘The A Team’, ‘Perfect’, ‘Happier’, ‘Don’t Call Me Baby’, ‘Castle On The Hill’, ‘Galway Girl’, and ‘Eyes Closed’. A highlight of the evening was Sheeran’s collaboration with Punjabi star-singer Diljit Dosanjh for a lively rendition of the popular track ‘Lover’, along with his performance of ‘2Step’ alongside Malik, showcasing a fusion of cultures and musical styles.
