The highly-anticipated Malayalam thriller ‘Identity’ has reached a significant milestone as the filmmakers successfully concluded a crucial schedule. Director Akhil Paul shared glimpses from the set, signaling the completion of this important phase. Despite this progress, the production still has 44 days of shooting remaining, according to the director’s note on Instagram.
Starring the versatile Tovino Thomas in the lead, ‘Identity’ is shaping up to be a gripping crime thriller under the direction of Akhil Paul and Anas Khan. Trisha Krishnan joins Thomas on-screen in this multi-part narrative. Originally intended to feature Madonna Sebastian, the film underwent casting changes when Sebastian exited the project for undisclosed reasons.
The cast sees notable additions with Vinay Rai and Mandira Bedi playing pivotal roles. Beyond its native Malayalam, ‘Identity’ aims to captivate audiences across Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi-speaking regions.
Aside from ‘Identity’, Tovino Thomas has other highly-anticipated projects including ‘Nadikar’ and ‘Ajayante Randam Moshanam’ lined up for release.
