Actor Aditya Roy Kapur, a perennial favorite when it comes to relationship gossip, recently addressed the question of his marriage plans. This came amid ongoing speculation about his rumored relationship with actress Ananya Panday.
During the trailer launch of ‘Gumraah’ in March 2023, Kapur was asked if he felt any pressure seeing his friends get married. He responded confidently, stating that he experiences no fear of missing out (FOMO) and will marry when the time is right. “I think everyone is getting married but I am not getting any FOMO. So, I will take my time and do it when the time is right,” he said.
Kapur’s comments followed viral pictures of him and Panday vacationing in Spain. Although rumors of their relationship were widespread, neither star confirmed nor denied the reports. Around the same time, Panday, during a talk show, commented, “Some things are private and special. And it should be kept that way.” When pressed about her relationship status with Kapur, she playfully replied, “I’m feeling very Ananya Coy Kapur answering that question.”
The alleged couple reportedly celebrated Panday’s 25th birthday in the Maldives on October 30, 2023. While Panday’s social media posts from the trip did not feature Kapur, they showed her enjoying the island getaway.
Professionally, Panday was last seen in ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ and is set to appear in her debut web series ‘Call Me Bae,’ along with the films ‘The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair’ and ‘Control.’ Kapur, on the other hand, has finished filming his role in ‘Metro… In Dino,’ directed by Anurag Basu. The film, which also stars Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Ali Fazal, and Konkona Sen Sharma, was initially set for release on September 13, 2024, but has been postponed to November 29, 2024.
