In a recent development, actress Ahaana Krishna paid a visit to Nakul Thampi, the actor-dancer renowned for his role in the film ‘Pathinettam Padi.’ Thampi had faced a life-threatening road accident in 2020, and Ahaana, who has previously worked with him in the mentioned film, shared an update on his health.
During her visit to Bangalore, Ahaana shared a video expressing, “A lot of you keep messaging me enquiring about Nakul Thampi’s current health update, post the unfortunate accident he met with 4 years ago. I got to meet him at home this time when I went to Bangalore. Thought I’ll share a little update about his current situation.”
Ahaana revealed positive progress in Nakul Thampi’s recovery. She mentioned, “Nakul has surely made small gains in his recovery. He’s more aware, expressive and has increased range of motion using his hands and legs. He recognised Rhea and me. It is however a long and enduring battle. We were glad to see him healthy. Hoping and praying for Nakul to be back to being himself. Miss you Nakul Baby!”
Expressing fond memories, she added, “Nakul, our bright, happy, energetic, sweet baby boy! We all miss you and can’t wait for you to come back to your magical self, which I’m sure is not far away! Do keep him in your prayers.”
Nakul Thampi’s tragic accident occurred on January 5, 2020, on the Kodaikanal road. Reports indicate that Nakul and his friend Adithyan were traveling when a private bus collided with their car. Nakul, aged 20 at the time, suffered severe injuries, including brain trauma, a dislocated hip, clavicle, and nasal fractures. Notably, Nakul Thampi is recognized by television audiences in Kerala for his appearances on a popular dance reality show.
