In a surprising turn of events, it has been rumored that Ahan Shetty, son of Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, and his long-time girlfriend Tania Shroff have decided to part ways. According to reliable sources, the couple reportedly ended their relationship approximately a month and a half ago.
Ahan and Tania, who have been romantically involved for over eleven years, were known to be childhood sweethearts, having attended the same school. A close friend of the now estranged couple has confirmed the breakup, stating, “It’s the end of an eleven-year-old relationship. They broke up last month or so. They are currently single and trying to move on.” The specific reasons behind the split remain undisclosed.
Last year, there were speculations about Ahan and Tania getting married. In response to these rumors, Ahan Shetty clarified in an interview, “I have never tried to hide anything and have been honest about it. If you want your audience to love you when you are performing for them on-screen, you have to be honest with them in your real life as well.” He added, “The rumors about my marriage don’t bother me. There is no truth to it. There is no wedding. Right now, my focus is on my career and training for the next few films.”
Despite the breakup, both Ahan and Tania still follow each other on Instagram. However, it is noteworthy that Tania has deleted a post welcoming cricketer KL Rahul “to the family” shortly after his wedding to Athiya Shetty, Ahan’s sister. Attempts to reach out to Ahan for a statement were unsuccessful at the time of reporting.
In a previous interview, Ahan’s father, Suniel Shetty, had referred to Tania as Ahan’s “first love,” adding an emotional touch to the end of this long-term relationship.
