Renowned Kollywood actor Ajith and his wife, actress Shalini, continue to mesmerize fans with their enduring bond, even after two decades of marriage. The couple, who tied the knot on April 24, 2000, following their collaboration in the film ‘Amarkalam’, are approaching their 24th anniversary. Recently, a heartwarming video of the couple celebrating their impending anniversary has gone viral on social media.
In the video, Ajith and Shalini can be seen joyfully cutting a cake and sharing sweet moments, accompanied by the melodious tune of their song ‘Unnodu Vaazhadha’.
This pre-anniversary celebration has stirred excitement among fans, especially as Ajith is set to depart for Azerbaijan soon for the shooting of his upcoming film ‘Vidaa Muyarchi’. It’s reported that the couple chose to celebrate early due to his impending trip.
Directed by TJ Gnanvel, ‘Vidaa Muyarchi’ features an ensemble cast including Ajith, Trisha, Regina Cassandra, Arav, and Arjun, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film’s production is nearing completion, with just a small portion of shooting remaining.
Following ‘Vidaa Muyarchi’, Ajith is slated to appear in ‘Good Bad Ugly’, directed by Adhik Ravichandran. On a personal note, the actor recently recovered from a nerve issue near his ear, for which he received treatment at a private hospital in Chennai.
