Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun and directed by Sukumar, continues its stellar box office run, crossing the ₹1184 crore mark even in its fourth week. The film, which released last month, saw significant growth on New Year’s Day, minting ₹13.1 crore.
After a massive opening weekend collection of ₹725.8 crore and an impressive second-week gross of ₹264.8 crore, the film maintained momentum in its third week with ₹129.5 crore. Arjun reprises his role as Pushpa Raj, with Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli and Fahadh Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.
The film also features Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj in key roles. A sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rampage, has already been announced.
However, the film’s premiere was marred by a tragic stampede incident, which resulted in a woman’s death and injuries to her son, leading to Allu Arjun’s brief arrest. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
