Amala Paul and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s much-anticipated film, ‘Aadujeevitham’, directed by Blessy, hit the big screens today, March 28. Based on Benyamin’s best-selling novel, the film also features Amala Paul in a pivotal role alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran.
In the film, Amala Paul portrays the character of Sainu, the wife of the protagonist Najeeb, played by Prithviraj Sukumaran. This project marks the first collaboration between the two actors. Speaking to TNIE, Amala Paul praised her co-star, describing Prithviraj Sukumaran as an ‘extraordinary actor’. She emphasized that his true potential has not yet been fully explored and commended his ability to portray a character with such depth, especially considering his strong personality. Paul also highlighted Prithviraj Sukumaran’s dedication to his craft, noting that he never complains and is always willing to push himself to the limits to achieve the perfect take.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Prithviraj Sukumaran shared his experience working with Amala Paul and discussed her character in the film. He recalled the long production process, noting that Amala Paul’s portions were shot and wrapped in 2018, with the film taking an additional four years to complete. Despite having limited screen time, Prithviraj Sukumaran praised Amala Paul’s talent, stating, “She is the reason why this man (Najeeb) does not give up. She is what serves as his strength and the rock from which he derives strength.”
