In a surprising turn of events, the upcoming film “Vanangaan,” initially set to star Suriya, faced a temporary setback before resuming production with Arun Vijay stepping into the lead role. Directed by Bala, the film recently entered the dubbing phase after completing principal photography and is now in the post-production stage.
The film’s first poster, featuring Arun Vijay holding idols of Ganesh and Periyar, was unveiled, adding to the anticipation surrounding the project. The cast includes Arun Vijay, Roshini Prakash, Samuthirakani, and Mysskin in pivotal roles, with GV Prakash Kumar composing the music.
Despite the buzz, the filmmakers have maintained secrecy around the plot, keeping audiences eagerly awaiting more details. The technical team behind the film includes cinematographer RB Gurudev and editor Sathish Surya, with renowned lyricist Vairamuthu penning the lyrics.
While the shooting has concluded, the release date and promotional plans for “Vanangaan” remain undisclosed. Notably, Suriya, initially set to produce the film under his banner 2D Entertainment, withdrew from the project citing creative differences, adding an unexpected twist to the movie’s journey.
