Supermodel Bella Hadid has announced her decision to step back from her illustrious career in modeling, opting for a fresh start in Texas alongside her partner, Adan Banuelo. After a decade in the industry, Hadid revealed to Allure magazine that she realized the toll her modeling career was taking on her well-being, prompting her to reassess her priorities.
“I was putting so much energy and love and effort into something that, in the long run, wasn’t necessarily giving back to me,” Hadid expressed.
Transitioning to life in Texas, Hadid noted a significant shift in her lifestyle, finding solace in a supportive circle of friends. Embracing authenticity, she emphasized a newfound freedom from the pressures of maintaining a facade, prioritizing her mental and emotional well-being above all else.
“For the first time now, I’m not putting on a fake face,” Hadid stated. “If I don’t feel good, I won’t go. If I don’t feel good, I take time for myself… And I’ve never had the opportunity to do that or say that before.”
Reflecting on her journey to wellness, the 27-year-old shared her satisfaction with her current state, affirming that her happiness is genuine. Hadid acknowledged her progress in overcoming health challenges, including her battle with Lyme disease, expressing gratitude for her improved physical and mental health.
“Now when anybody sees me in pictures and they say I look happy, I genuinely am,” Hadid affirmed. “I am feeling better; my bad days now were my old good days.”
