Celebrating a Decade: Blockbuster Pair Ganesh and Amulya to Reunite in “Once More Shravani Subramanya”
In a nostalgic move, producer Suresh has officially announced the much-anticipated sequel to the 2013 box office hit, “Shravani Subramanya.” As the original film marked its tenth anniversary in December, the upcoming project, titled “Once More Shravani Subramanya,” is set to bring back the beloved on-screen duo of Ganesh and Amulya.
Having earned widespread success a decade ago, “Shravani Subramanya” garnered approximately 30 crores in 2013, establishing itself as a significant milestone in Ganesh’s career, who was recovering from a series of setbacks. The new installment is expected to inject fresh energy into the narrative, with a revamped plot featuring a blend of comedy and romantic elements.
Director Manju Swaraj, known for the extensive filming around Mysuru for the original, is set to helm the sequel. The announcement has generated buzz among fans, as the duo, last seen together in “Cheluvina Chittara,” prepares to captivate audiences once again.
In an effort to infuse new talent into the project, the makers have opened auditions to discover fresh faces that will complement the established chemistry between Ganesh and Amulya. While specific details remain under wraps, the production team has promised to unveil more information in the coming days.
With “Once More Shravani Subramanya” slated to commence filming later this year, fans can anticipate a delightful cinematic experience that pays homage to the success of its predecessor while introducing a refreshing twist to the narrative.
