In a recent turn of events, the much-anticipated release of “Dashmi,” featuring Vardhan Puri, grandson of the late legendary actor Amrish Puri, has faced a setback. Originally slated for a cinematic debut on January 19, coinciding with the week of the inauguration of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, the film has now been postponed due to certification issues.
The ensemble cast, including Vardhan Puri, Adil Khan, Monica Chaudhary, and others, had built anticipation among eager audiences. Shedding light on the matter, Vardhan Puri, on behalf of the film’s director Shantanu Anant Tambe and the entire team, confirmed the delay, citing certification challenges.
“At the moment, we are not allowed to comment on anything, but the new release date of the film will be officially announced once we all have more information,” stated Vardhan Puri, keeping details under wraps.
Expressing gratitude to the audience, Vardhan acknowledged the overwhelming support and love received, particularly highlighting the presence of Bollywood star Bobby Deol. The “Animal” actor attended a special screening of the film, leaving a lasting impression on Vardhan.
“The audience has been very kind and supportive, showering the film and all of us with so much love. We genuinely appreciate that and express our gratitude,” said Vardhan. He went on to express his heartfelt thanks to Bobby Deol, praising not only his acting prowess but also acknowledging him as one of the kindest individuals he has encountered.
As the uncertainty surrounding the film’s release date lingers, fans eagerly await official updates while cherishing the support received from the audience and notable personalities like Bobby Deol.
