Dhanush’s 50th film, ‘Raayan,’ which hit theaters on July 26, has made a remarkable debut. The film opened to positive reviews and is performing strongly at the box office. According to Cinetrak’s trade report, ‘Raayan’ earned approximately Rs 13 crore on its fourth day, Monday, showcasing a robust box office run with numerous evening and night shows going houseful. With its impressive momentum, the film is poised to quickly hit the 100 crore mark, potentially becoming Dhanush’s fastest film to do so.
In just four days, ‘Raayan’ has accumulated nearly Rs 87 crore in total collections. It remains to be seen if the action drama will reach the 100 crore milestone today or within the next day. The film’s domestic earnings are estimated at around Rs 60 crore, including Rs 40 crore from Tamil Nadu. Internationally, ‘Raayan’ has also performed well, grossing approximately Rs 27 crore, marking it as Dhanush’s highest-grossing film in various overseas markets.
‘Raayan’ is Dhanush’s second directorial venture, featuring a notable cast including SJ Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Saravanan, Aparna Balamurali, Dushara Vijayan, and Prakash Raj in supporting roles.
