In a whirlwind of both box office triumph and social media buzz, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ has captivated audiences, eliciting praise and criticism alike. The film, featuring Ranbir Kapoor in a prominent role, has not only struck the right chord with many but has also stirred controversy, drawing a spectrum of opinions.
Despite having relatively small roles, all the actors in the film have garnered considerable acclaim. Triptii Dimri, known for her earlier work in ‘Bulbbul’ and ‘Qala,’ where she showcased her acting prowess, delivered an extended cameo in ‘Animal’ and has become a sensation in her own right.
A recent report by Lifestyle Asia has shed light on Triptii Dimri’s remuneration for her role in ‘Animal.’ The actress is said to have received Rs 40 lakhs for her cameo, although official confirmation awaits an announcement from Triptii herself.
Triptii’s on-screen chemistry with Ranbir Kapoor and the intimate scenes in ‘Animal’ have dominated conversations. In an exclusive interview with ETimes, she reflected on the challenges she faced, comparing the impactful rape scene in ‘Bulbbul’ to her role in ‘Animal.’ Triptii stated, “More than the scenes in ‘Animal,’ the rape scene that I did in ‘Bulbbul’ was more challenging for me as a person. As a person, that scene was more challenging because you’re just giving up. And giving up is more difficult than finding courage to do something.”
She emphasized the actor’s responsibility to do justice to the character and the director’s vision, asserting her commitment to portraying roles with honesty and dedication.
