In a significant development, renowned actor Dhanush has officially committed to his 51st film, tentatively titled ‘DNS,’ in collaboration with director Sekhar Kammula. Commencing with a muhurat pujah last year, the trilingual project has been in pre-production, and the eagerly awaited shooting is poised to resume shortly.
Anticipation is building as the film’s title and an exclusive first look are scheduled to be unveiled on March 8. The revelation, marking the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri, was shared by the movie’s UK distributors on social media. ‘DNS’ is poised to explore the narrative of a gangster, focusing on the intricacies of the Mumbai mafia.
Featuring a stellar cast including Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and Saurav Khanna, the film promises to captivate audiences. Renowned music composer Devi Sri Prasad is set to score the soundtrack.
The technical crew of ‘DNS’ comprises cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan and editor Marthand Venkatesh. Notably, the film will be simultaneously shot in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, catering to a diverse audience.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is engrossed in the post-production phase of his 50th directorial venture, ‘Raayan.’ The star-studded cast includes Dhanush, SJ Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, Kalidas Jayaram, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Sundeep Kishan, with the musical genius AR Rahman composing the soundtrack.
Beyond ‘DNS,’ Dhanush is gearing up for his Bollywood project, ‘Tere Ishk Mein,’ helmed by Anand L Rai. Subsequently, he is set to direct his third film, ‘Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam.’ The multifaceted actor continues to make waves with his diverse and promising projects on the horizon.
