In the early hours of Sunday morning, gunshots were fired outside the residence of Bollywood actor Salman Khan at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. According to police reports, CCTV footage captured two unidentified men on a motorcycle shortly after the gunfire. Four rounds were fired, with one bullet striking the wall of Khan’s house. The identity of the gunmen remains unknown.
Following the incident, fans of the actor took to social media to express their concerns for Khan’s safety, urging the police and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to enhance his security. In response, Shinde held a telephonic conversation with Khan and subsequently consulted with the Mumbai Police Commissioner to recommend an increase in Khan’s security measures, as reported by ANI.
After the shooting, the Crime Branch and a forensic team, including ballistics experts, arrived at the scene and discovered at least one bullet mark on the building’s entrance gate during their examination. The investigation into the identity and motives of the two gunmen is ongoing.
Reacting to the incident, many fans voiced their support for the actor on social media. One user tweeted, “Provide high-level protection,” while another questioned, “Where is law and order?” Another fan demanded, “We want Z+ security ???? LAWRENCE KI M-K-C. WE STAND WITH SALMAN KHAN.”
On the professional front, Salman Khan was last seen in ‘Tiger 3’. Although fans were disappointed with no film release from the actor on Eid, he announced a new project titled ‘Sikander’, which will be directed by AR Murugadoss.
