After his notable appearance in ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2,’ actor Vikram is gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated film ‘Thangalaan,’ scheduled to hit theaters on January 26, 2024. Following this, Vikram has officially signed on for his 62nd film, a collaboration with director SU Arun Kumar.
Arun Kumar, who rose to fame with the recent release of ‘Chithha’ starring Siddharth, is set to direct ‘Chiyaan 62.’ The project, currently in pre-production, is slated to begin filming in February 2024. Reportedly, the film will showcase a unique storyline distinct from Vikram’s previous works, with GV Prakash handling the music composition.
The filmmakers are expected to make an official announcement regarding the cast and crew of ‘Chiyaan 62’ soon. Meanwhile, Vikram is eagerly anticipating the release of ‘Thangalaan,’ directed by Pa Ranjith. The period action film features Vikram, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, and Malavika Mohanan in lead roles, with GV Prakash contributing to the musical score. The film’s trailer is set to be launched shortly.
On another front, Vikram is also awaiting the release of his long-delayed film ‘Dhruva Natchathiram,’ directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
