SS Rajamouli is one of the top most successful directors of India and even before his film ‘Baahubali’, his fantasy film ‘Naan Ee’ / ‘Eega’ which was released in 2012 had earned a huge fame. The film made a good name and was successful, and actor Nani who played the lead role in the movie in a recent interview said that if the film was released now, 10 years later than the original year, it would have undoubtedly become the biggest film of all time.
Nani who is awaiting the release of his film Hi Nanna, in a promotional interview with India Today, said that if Eega was released today, the film would get a global recognition. Praising Rajamouli, Nani said that what the director did then was mind blowing and unimaginable.
The film received nationwide recognition when it was released and the film features Nani as the protagonist, Samantha plays the female lead and Sudeep plays the antagonist. The movie’s story is about how after the antagonist kills the hero, he makes a re-birth as a house fly and tries to take revenge against the villain by communicating with his girlfriend.
