Actor Jayam Ravi, who last appeared in the Tamil film ‘Siren’, is currently filming for his upcoming movie ‘Kadhalikka Neramilai’. Starring alongside him is Nithya Menen, with Kiruthiga Udayanidhi directing and AR Rahman composing the music. In a recent interview with a YouTube channel, Ravi described the film as a departure from his previous work, emphasizing its unique take on romance.
He explained that while the storyline follows the typical ‘boy meets girl’ formula, it introduces a mature perspective on love. Ravi admitted that although the concept isn’t entirely new, it presents a fresh challenge for him as an actor, marking his first venture into such a role.
Recently, the filmmakers announced that Shruti Haasan would lend her voice to a song in the movie, composed by AR Rahman. A snapshot shared on social media indicated that recording for the music track is underway.
Alongside Ravi and Menen, the film features Vijay Rai, Yogi Babu, Lal, John Kokken, TJ Bhanu, Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, and Vinodhini in supporting roles. In addition to ‘Kadhalikka Neramilai’, Jayam Ravi has ‘Brother’, ‘Thug Life’, and ‘Genie’ in various stages of production.
