In a recent interview with YouTube channel Jango Space TV, renowned filmmaker Jeethu Joseph has sparked excitement among fans with hints of a potential collaboration with superstar Mammootty. This revelation follows the success of Joseph’s latest project, ‘Neru,’ featuring Mohanlal.
Joseph shared insights into his creative process, revealing his intention to tailor a unique narrative specifically for Mammootty. Although in the early stages of development, the director expressed enthusiasm about shaping the storyline before approaching the acclaimed actor. While Joseph kept details about the genre under wraps, he teased audiences to anticipate a mystery.
‘Neru,’ marking the fourth collaboration between Jeethu Joseph and Mohanlal, has received highly positive reviews from audiences. The courtroom drama features an ensemble cast including Anaswara Rajan, Siddique, Jagadish, among others. The film boasts musical compositions by Vishnu Shyam, cinematography by Satheesh Kurup, and editing by VS Vinayak.
Beyond ‘Neru,’ Jeethu Joseph is gearing up for another collaboration with Mohanlal in the two-part film ‘Ram,’ scheduled for release in 2024. Simultaneously, the director is set to embark on a project titled ‘Nunakuzhi’ alongside Basil Joseph, with filming recently concluded. The movie features a cast including Basil Joseph, Grace Antony, Swasika, Sidhique, Baiju Santhosh, Aju Varghese, Binu Pappu, and others in significant roles.
It’s worth noting that Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph had previously joined forces for the mystery thriller ’12th Man,’ which received acclaim from audiences.
