Veteran actors Mohanlal and Shobana are all set to reunite onscreen after a hiatus of 15 years for an upcoming film tentatively titled ‘L360’. Directed by Tharun Moorthy, the film will see Mohanlal in the lead role, with Shobana as the leading lady. Notably, this film will also mark the 56th collaboration between the iconic pair.
The last time the duo shared the screen was in 2009 for ‘Sagar Alia Jacky Reloaded’. While they have played lead roles together more recently, it has been nearly two decades since they portrayed a couple onscreen, their last film in that capacity being ‘Mampazhakkaalam’ in 2004.
Expressing her excitement about the project, Shobana shared a video on Instagram saying, “Good morning. It’s a great day to announce that I am doing a Malayalam movie after a long gap. I am super excited. The director is Tharun Moorthy. Can you guess who the hero of the movie is? Yes, it is Mr. Mohanlal.”
The film is co-written by Tharun Moorthy and Sunil and is expected to go on floors soon.
