In a grand celebration spanning three days, the pre-wedding festivities for Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, commenced on March 1. The extravagant event witnessed the presence of renowned Bollywood figures including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and others. However, notable absentees were Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas.
Madhu Chopra, Priyanka Chopra’s mother, who participated in the festivities, spoke about her daughter’s absence at the Ambani-Merchant wedding celebrations. When questioned about missing Priyanka in Jamnagar, Madhu Chopra acknowledged the longing and mentioned that Priyanka would compensate for her absence at the event. She expressed her desire to visit Jamnagar and disclosed that she had communicated with Anant many years ago, making this wedding a perfect reason to attend.
