Renowned Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi is set to captivate audiences with his upcoming film, “Maharaja,” slated for a theatrical release on July 14. With the release date just a week away, the film’s creators have been steadily building excitement by providing regular updates. Recently, they unveiled the first single from the film, titled “Thaaye Thaaye.”
“Thaaye Thaaye,” an emotional composition by Ajaneesh B Loknath, delves into the touching relationship between a father and his daughter. The song’s poignant lyrics, penned by Vairamuthu, are beautifully rendered by singer Sid Sriram. As part of the promotional campaign, Vijay Sethupathi and the “Maharaja” team have traveled to Dubai, where they premiered the song at the Silicon Central Mall. This follows a series of grand promotional events in Dubai, including the display of the film’s poster and trailer on the iconic Burj Khalifa, marking a distinctive celebration for what is Vijay Sethupathi’s 50th film.
Directed by Nithilan Saminathan, “Maharaja” presents Vijay Sethupathi in a formidable and intense role. The film’s trailer has already generated considerable intrigue, showcasing the actor in a new and ruthless avatar.
