While promoting the film, Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis shared some exciting details about the sequel. Curtis confirmed that Jacinto will portray Lohan’s husband, although she noted that further details about his role are still under wraps. The original Freaky Friday, released in 2003, featured Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan as a mother and daughter who swap bodies after making a wish on a magical fortune cookie. They spent a day living each other’s lives before they could return to their own bodies.
In the sequel, Freakier Friday, Jamie Lee Curtis has revealed that Chad Michael Murray will reprise his role as Jake, Lohan’s love interest from the first film. This development has further fueled excitement for the upcoming movie.
