Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt are set to reunite on screen for the sequel to their 2012 comedy hit, “Son of Sardaar.” Titled “Son of Sardaar 2,” the film will see the duo reprising their beloved roles as Billu and Jassi. Joining them as the new female lead is Mrunal Thakur, replacing Sonakshi Sinha from the original.
According to sources, the sequel promises a fresh storyline where the dynamics between Billu and Jassi will take a new turn, intensifying their humorous rivalry. The film is scheduled to begin shooting in Scotland soon, spanning a 50-day schedule across scenic locations like Glencoe, Glenfinnan, and historic landmarks such as Culross Palace and Doune Castle.
Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, “Son of Sardaar 2” marks a significant return after 12 years, aiming to recreate the charm of its predecessor amidst Scotland’s picturesque landscapes.
