The Telugu spy thriller “Goodachari” recently celebrated its six-year anniversary. Released in 2018, the film starred Adivi Sesh in the lead role. To mark the occasion, Adivi Sesh took to X to share new photos from the sequel. The original 2018 film received widespread acclaim, and the sequel began production in December 2023.
The highly anticipated sequel is scheduled for release in the second half of 2025. Adivi Sesh shared his excitement, stating, “The legacy of the film has grown even bigger with time. There hasn’t been a single week in the last six years that I haven’t heard appreciation for Goodachari. G2 will be bigger, international in scale but Indian in emotion. For all the fans of Goodachari, G2 will be a massive visual treat. Stay tuned…”
The sequel will be released in various Indian languages, with nearly 40% of the shooting already completed. The cast includes Adivi Sesh and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles, along with Murali Sharma, Supriya Yarlagadda, and Madhu Shalini in supporting roles. The technical crew features cinematographer Azeem Mohammed, editor Kodati Pawan Kalyan, and music composed by Sricharan Pakala.
