In a bold departure from the conventional, director PC Shekhar has recently unveiled a monochromatic visual treat for his upcoming film, “BAD.” The filmmaker, known for his innovative approaches, shared insights into this distinctive choice for the promotional song titled “Sky Fall.”
Breaking away from the prevailing trend of vibrant and colorful song sequences, Shekhar explained his decision, stating, “While it’s become common to have lyrical songs with an accompanying video of colorful visuals from the film, I thought why not do something different?” The director opted for a complete turnaround, choosing to shoot a black and white promotional video alongside the song, challenging the norm.
The song, composed by music director Arjun Janya, features a Western style number beautifully sung by Aishwarya Rangarajan. The video showcases Arjun Janya, Aishwarya Rangarajan, hero Nakul Gowda, and the technical team, providing a unique visual and musical experience for the audience.
“It’s a western style number, and Aishwarya has sung it beautifully. Arjun Janya has composed the track in keeping with the situation in the film and lent his magical touch,” concluded Shekhar, emphasizing the film’s distinctive artistic approach. The unconventional choice in visuals and music for “Sky Fall” adds an intriguing dimension to the anticipation surrounding “BAD.”
