In a groundbreaking move, the highly anticipated film “Paradise,” directed by acclaimed Sri Lankan filmmaker Prasanna Vithanage, is slated for a worldwide release on June 28, 2024. Having made its World Premiere at the Busan International Film Festival in 2023, where it clinched the prestigious Kim Jiseok Award for Best Film, “Paradise” has been generating buzz across international film circuits.
Marking a significant milestone, Vithanage’s “Paradise” is set to become the first Indian film by a Sri Lankan director to receive a global release. The film’s director expressed gratitude towards Newton Cinema for facilitating this worldwide exposure.
