In a recent incident aboard a Mumbai-Hyderabad flight, renowned Indian actress Rashmika Mandanna shared details of a harrowing near-death experience. Mandanna, accompanied by fellow actress Shraddha Das, took to Instagram to recount the terrifying ordeal.
According to the actress, the flight, operated by Vistara as Flight UK531, faced turbulence and technical issues shortly after takeoff. Within 30 minutes, the pilots made the crucial decision to return to Mumbai as a precautionary measure, citing the safety of all passengers onboard.
An Air Vistara spokesperson confirmed the detection of a technical snag on the flight. Following standard operating procedures, the pilots safely landed the aircraft at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai. The airline assured that necessary precautions were taken, and passengers were provided with refreshments while an alternate aircraft was arranged for their journey to Hyderabad.
Maintaining composure during the incident, both Rashmika Mandanna and Shraddha Das posted a selfie on Instagram taken during the turbulent flight. Mandanna, in a lighthearted caption, wrote, “Just FYI, this is how we escaped death today.”
Currently, Rashmika Mandanna is actively involved in the much-anticipated film, ‘Pushpa: The Rule,’ starring Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil. The actress, portraying the lead role of ‘Srivalli,’ is expected to play Allu Arjun’s wife in the sequel. The film is scheduled for release on Independence Day, 2024.
