In a recent Instagram update, ‘Riverdale’ actor Madelaine Petsch shared a teaser and announced the release date for Renny Harlin’s remake of the 2008 film ‘The Strangers.’ The highly-anticipated movie is scheduled to hit theaters on May 17, 2024, as reported by reliable sources.

According to reports, the original ‘Strangers’ movie, a home invasion thriller directed by Bryan Bertino, starred Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman. The success of the original and its 2018 sequel, ‘The Strangers: Prey at Night,’ collectively grossed over $113 million at the global box office.
The storyline of the upcoming film follows Madelaine Petsch’s character as she embarks on a cross-country journey with her longtime partner, played by Froy Gutierrez, aiming to start a new life in the Pacific Northwest. However, their plans take a sinister turn when their car breaks down in Venus, Oregon, leading them to spend the night in a remote Airbnb. The couple finds themselves terrorized by three masked assailants from twilight till daylight.
