Veteran Bollywood actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha, 77, has been admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital due to viral fever and weakness, according to his son, Luv Sinha. The news follows shortly after his daughter Sonakshi Sinha’s recent wedding to actor Zaheer Iqbal. Shatrughan, renowned for his roles in ’70s and ’80s classics such as “Mere Apne” and “Kalicharan,” recently won the Lok Sabha elections from West Bengal’s Asansol constituency under the Trinamool Congress. Despite rumors of minor surgery, Luv Sinha clarified that no such procedure took place, emphasizing that Shatrughan’s current priority is his health. Shatrughan Sinha, a graduate of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, has a storied career in Bollywood and remains a prominent figure in Indian politics.
