Popular actor Sivakarthikeyan, whose last venture “Maaveran” saw tremendous success at the box office in 2023, is gearing up for an action-packed 2024 with the imminent releases of “Ayalaan” and the yet-to-be-titled “SK 21.”
As the filming for his latest project is in full swing, the actor took to social media on Saturday to share a sneak peek of his new look, accompanied by a powerful caption: “Look in the mirror. That’s your competition. #SK21.”
Fans were quick to express their excitement, eagerly anticipating Sivakarthikeyan’s return to the big screen. “Ayalaan,” directed by Ravikumar and co-starring Rakul Preet Singh, is slated for a theatrical release on January 12, 2024.
Additionally, Sivakarthikeyan’s next venture, “SK 21,” helmed by Rajkumar Periasamy and featuring Sai Pallavi as the female lead, is produced by none other than Kamal Haasan. The film, a biographical drama based on the real-life story of Major Mukund Varadarajan, boasts music composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
Looking ahead, the versatile actor is set to embark on another project, “SK 23,” with acclaimed director AR Murugadoss. This film, starring Mrunal Thakur, Mohanlal, and Vidyut Jamwal in pivotal roles, is expected to commence production soon, pending an official announcement from the makers.
Rumors are also circulating about a potential collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan and “Good Night” director Vinay Chandrasekaran on an upcoming project, although official details are yet to be confirmed.
