In ‘Heeramandi’, a Sanjay Leela Bhansali creation marking his OTT debut, Sonakshi portrays the character of ‘Fareedan’. The actress, with a massive Instagram following of 27.9 million, unveiled a series of captivating snapshots from her recent photoshoot, showcasing her glamorous appearance in the green attire. She accessorized the look with oxidized earrings, bangles, and golden heels, while her makeup featured glossy brown lips and kohl-rimmed eyes.
In her Instagram caption, Sonakshi hinted at her character ‘Fareedan’, suggesting her enigmatic portrayal with the phrase “green with envy”. The series, set against the backdrop of the Indian freedom struggle in the 1940s, also stars Manisha Koirala, Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal, and Sanjeeda Sheikh.
