In a recent development, Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, renowned for her impressive action sequences in ‘Tiger 3,’ is set to grace the screen alongside Vijay Sethupathi in Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming film, ‘Merry Christmas.’ The film’s trailer, released last week, garnered a positive response from the audience.
When questioned about the prospect of collaborating on an action film with Sriram Raghavan, Katrina Kaif dismissed the idea, stating to Pinkvilla, “No. I think those conversations are already existing in my life, in the different films I have done. In the Tiger franchise. So, I think there’s a lot there already that I’m so connected to.” Kaif expressed her desire to explore new challenges and humorously noted that Raghavan might not have enjoyed being on set during the towel fight scene in ‘Tiger 3.’ According to her, ‘Merry Christmas’ is the creative space where the filmmaker excels.
Sriram Raghavan chimed in, stating, “And that’s something that I really wanted. I didn’t want to do with her what she has already done before. That I’m using her as a star kind of thing.”
‘Merry Christmas’ is slated to be a romantic thriller and is scheduled to hit the big screens on January 12, 2024.
