Renowned director SS Rajamouli recently shared his thoughts on the Malayalam blockbuster film ‘Premalu,’ directed by Girish AD. Rajamouli took to his official Twitter account to express his appreciation for the film and the cast, particularly acknowledging the commendable Telugu dubbing done by his son SS Karthikeya.
In his tweet, Rajamouli praised the film, describing it as a “laugh riot throughout” and commending the writer for capturing the essence of meme and youth language perfectly. He shared his admiration for the performances, singling out the characters of Reenu and Sachin. However, he humorously declared his favorite as Aadi, adding a playful “JK…Just Kidding????.”
The lead actor, Shyam Mohan, who portrayed the character Aadi, responded to Rajamouli’s review on Instagram, expressing his gratitude and calling it a “lifetime settlement” for him as an actor.
The film, originally released in Malayalam on February 9, gained popularity for its portrayal of Hyderabad city. Following its success, the Telugu version of ‘Premalu’ hit the screens on March 8, with Rajamouli’s son contributing to the Telugu dubbing. The film’s box office collections continued to soar, reaching Rs 44.35 crore on its 27th day of release.
