Actor Vicky Kaushal is making waves with his dance number ‘Tauba Tauba’ from the movie ‘Bad Newz’. The song has gone viral, with fans sharing videos of themselves performing the hookstep. Recently, Vicky’s brother, Sunny Kaushal, who is preparing for his next film, danced to the track at an event despite initially saying, “Mujhe nahi ata” (I don’t know how to do it).
In a video from the event, Sunny was asked to dance to ‘Tauba Tauba’ and initially responded, “Mujhe nahi ata Tauba Tauba, main pehle hi bata raha hun. Mujhe nahi ata; maine nahi seekha” (I don’t know how to do Tauba Tauba, I am telling you upfront. I don’t know it; I haven’t learned it). However, as the song began to play, Sunny burst into laughter and energetically performed the hookstep.
‘Tauba Tauba’ is composed, sung, and penned by Karan Aujla, with catchy dance steps choreographed by the duo Bosco-Caesar. Actress Triptii Dimri also features in the song in a glamorous avatar.
Directed by Anand Tiwari, ‘Bad Newz’ was released on July 19. The film’s plot revolves around Dimri’s character, Saloni Bagga, who has the rare medical condition of heteropaternal superfecundation, a reproductive process in which twins are born to the same mother but from different biological fathers.
Vicky Kaushal will next be seen in Laxman Utekar’s ‘Chhava’, based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, paired opposite Rashmika Mandanna. The film is slated for release on December 6, clashing with Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa: The Rule’. Following that, Vicky will star in ‘Love & War’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
