In a recent episode of Netflix’s “The Great Indian Kapil Show,” actor Sunny Kaushal shared some amusing anecdotes from his childhood, shedding light on his brother Vicky Kaushal’s unusual sleeping habits.
Sunny Kaushal revealed that while most people might mumble or talk incoherently in their sleep, Vicky would deliver what he described as “an entire performance.” He recounted a particular incident when they shared a room as children: “One night, I was going to sleep and he had already been asleep for 45 minutes. He suddenly threw his blanket off and said, ‘Check it.’ I was puzzled and asked, ‘Check what?’ He responded, ‘I am done with my paper, check it.'”
Interestingly, Vicky didn’t just talk in his sleep; he did it with his eyes wide open. If Sunny tried to wake him up, Vicky would become startled, forcing Sunny to engage in a conversation with him until he fell back asleep.
Vicky Kaushal chimed in with another funny story involving their mother. He said, “This happened with my mom as well. I was sleeping and I woke up saying, ‘He snatched your purse.’ Mom, unaware of my sleep-talking habit, asked, ‘Who?’”
The episode also featured a moment where Sunil Grover humorously interrupted host Kapil Sharma during his gig, playfully commenting on their profession: “Bura lagega inko but yeh inlogon ka dhandha hai.”
