In a global box office showdown, Prasanth Varma’s ‘Hanu-Man’, headlined by Teja Sajja, has surged past Trivikram Srinivas’ star-studded ‘Guntur Kaaram’. Both films, hitting screens on January 12, 2024, have surpassed the Rs 200 crore milestone, but ‘Hanu-Man’ claims the lead with a worldwide collection of Rs 225.62 crore, eclipsing ‘Guntur Kaaram’s Rs 200.32 crore, as per trade analysts.

Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, ‘Guntur Kaaram’ boasts a star-studded cast including Mahesh Babu, Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ramya Krishnan, Prakash Raj, and Jayaram. Despite facing early skepticism and negative reviews on its opening day, the film managed to break even by its twelfth day.
