In a much-anticipated release, the film ‘Captain Miller,’ starring actor Dhanush, has finally hit the big screens. Following this success, the versatile actor is gearing up for his next venture, tentatively titled ‘D 51,’ directed by Sekhar Kammula. The auspicious muhurat pujah for the trilingual film took place last year, and the latest update reveals that the shooting is slated to commence on January 24.
According to reports from India Glitz, the first schedule of ‘D 51’ will unfold in Mumbai and Cochin, with the film categorized as a political thriller delving into the realm of political mafia. The cast features a powerhouse trio, including Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna, while the music and background score are crafted by the talented Devi Sri Prasad.
Beyond ‘D 51,’ Dhanush has a busy lineup, with two directorial projects in the pipeline. His second directorial, tentatively titled ‘D 50,’ boasts a stellar cast including Dhanush, Nithya Menen, SJ Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Aparna Balamurali, Anikha Surendran, Selvaraghavan, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. The film’s music, composed by AR Rahman, is currently in post-production.
Meanwhile, Dhanush’s third directorial venture, ‘Nilavikku Enmel Ennadi Kovam,’ also known as DD3, has generated buzz since its title and poster launch on December 24. The cast features Dhanush, Sarathkumar, Mathew Thomas, Priya Prakash Warrier, Anikha Surendran, and Shravan Kumar, with GV Prakash Kumar handling the film’s musical composition.
On the Bollywood front, Dhanush is set to charm audiences with the Hindi film ‘Tere Ishk Mein,’ alongside director Anand L Rai, scheduled for release in 2024. The actor’s multifaceted endeavors continue to captivate fans across various film industries.
