In an exciting development, the Malayalam film ‘Ring Master,’ starring Dileep and Keerthy Suresh, is all set to be remade in Tamil. Renowned filmmaker R. Kannan, known for his directorial ventures like ‘Kanden Kadhalai,’ ‘Settai,’ ‘Thalli Pogathey,’ and ‘The Great Indian Kitchen (Tamil remake),’ is at the helm of this upcoming project.
Actress Malvi Malhotra has been roped in as the leading lady for the Tamil remake, where she will be portraying the character of Abhinaya. The actress expressed her joy and enthusiasm about being part of the remake, stating, “I’m very happy and excited to be part of this remake. After I watched the original film, I was so impressed by Keerthy Suresh’s role that I started preparing for the character and took some workshops as well. Looking forward to giving my best to this film.”
The film’s shooting is currently underway, with a source close to the project confirming the progress. The music for the Tamil remake is in the capable hands of the renowned composer D. Imman.
The original Malayalam film, ‘Ring Master,’ released in 2014, featured Honey Rose, Kalabhavan Shajon, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Guinness Pakru in pivotal roles. Directed by Rafi, the film revolves around a dog trainer and a visually challenged woman.
